Exodus 33:12-23

Moses is pleading with God to go with him and the Israelites to the Promised Land. In fact, Moses is practically begging God to go with him. This is such a beautiful picture of our relationship with God. Moses was fervent and adamant about God’s presence going with him. He didn’t want to go anywhere or do anything without him. The great news is, because of Jesus, we will never have to go anywhere or do anything without the presence of God either. We have the beautiful gift of the Holy Spirit and praise God for that! Thank God that we don’t have to do this life without Him.

Has there ever been a time in your life where you genuinely thought, “I cannot do this without you, God”?

Recall the moments and situations that brought you to that place and thank the Lord for them. Whether they were negative or positive experiences, how did those situations bring you to a place of dependency on God?
