Genesis 9:8-17

This is a much-loved passage by adults and one that we share with children from a very early age. The end of the flood marks a sign of hope that things will turn around for the better, even during the tough times, as a covenant of assurance that God will not destroy all life again. We hold onto the biblical flood story so tightly; because it reminds us to hope for the rainbow after the storm. In addition, it also instructs us to believe that, even in the midst of a tempest, a new tomorrow awaits us.

A rainbow is an abiding reminder that God keeps his promises. Do you really trust that God is faithful to keep his promises?

Take a moment and write down the ways you have seen God’s faithfulness.
