John 20:1-31

This is the climatic moment of the Gospels! Where sin and death once reigned, now Jesus’ blood has the final word! The resurrection is the final word on sin’s devastating effects on humanity. Jesus has taken it all on Himself, and in return, Jesus’ crucifixion has given us His righteousness. Before He ascends into heaven to be with the Father, He visits His disciples. When He comes face to face with the people who denied Him, abandoned Him, and left Him to die, He doesn’t respond in shock or disbelief at what they’ve done. Instead, He offers them a gift of peace. He equips them with the Holy Spirit. Jesus’ resurrection is not just the end of sin and death; it is the beginning of the empowering of the Holy Spirit to share the Gospel.

How can you convey the message of the Gospel to others in your everyday life?

How does the empowering of the Holy Spirit help us share this message?
