our name

The Orchard
Our name reflects Ephesians 3:17-21.
It is our prayer that, as our roots grow deeper into God’s love together, we will all begin to understand and to experience life as it was really intended to be lived.
A community of faith, hope and love
More than just a catchphrase, it is a proclamation of what is at the very center of our church and a vision for what we might one day become. In 1st Corinthians 13:13, Paul says that there are three things that will endure forever: faith, hope and love. We believe that if we can engage each other in a conversation about what those three things really mean for our lives, for our families, for Lafayette County and for the world, then we can truly begin to get a peek into God’s kingdom here on Earth.
